Hummus Recipe

I get recipes from Peak of the Market and this one caught my eye.
I plan on trying it soon.

Roasted Pepper Hummus
1 can can garbanzo beans, rinsed & drained (14 oz / 398 ml)
1/4 C roasted red peppers
12 kalamata olives, pitted
4 sun dried tomato halves
1/4 C water
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp fresh basil leaves, chopped
2 tsp olive oil
2 medium garlic cloves, peeled (or use garlic stuffed olives)

A Monarch Summer; Summer 09

This has been a busy summer and now only this week left as it is back to work Sept 8.
We started off the summer with friends from Thompson here in June, then with Ken and Shavon here. Shavon had her niece and some friends here too as they were going to the Jonas Brothers. They left and visitors from Illinois arrived. They were here to attend the Monarch Teachers Network Workshop. (see pictures of Monarchs for an idea of how awesome that was)
Just before they left Trevor and Amber arrived with dogs. We left and went to Alberta and BC
We came home, a chrysalis became a butterfly and Daralee and Magnus arrived with adorable children. We had rain, but fun with the kids.
They left, and I released the butterfly.
Chris arrived and another butterfly emerged. Released that butterfly. (more pics) All three of us went to Thunder Bay and had a good visit with Trevor and Amber.
Now Chris is gone.
I also did some geocaching. Found my 200th cache in BC on a mountain.
Other than the weather it was a good summer.
